So I came here today to get my BMW serviced because the check engine light randomly turns off and on by itself. When I called a week in advance to make my appointment, I was told a rental would be provided to me Friday. Well I get to my scheduled appointment @ 12pm and was told that I would be charged $90 for diagnostic to see what was wrong with my vehicle, because my 1 year warranty had JUST expired. Or I can waive the diagnostic fee and sign a paper if any repair that's $200+ I'll agree to pay. I don't have a problem with this. But the last time I was here with the same tech Daniel, I told him that the engine light turned back on literally the NEXT DAY after getting it serviced in MAY. I have a very busy schedule and Daniel told me not to worry. To bring in my car back at any time and he would take care of me. Now I'm being charged for something that was never properly taken care of back in May. It only gets worse. So I agree to pay, and I'm ready to leave with the rental I scheduled in advance to use and Daniel tells me they don't have one for me?? He tells me to return and he would give me a call back no later than 230pm to come back for car rental. At this point, I express to him that I really need my car fixed today because I need to renew my registration by July 30th and since my engine light is turned on, it won't pass the required DMV smog test. He reassures me to just come back and it'll be fine. Well 230pm came and went. I NEVER heard from him. So I called BMW and I told the receptionist about my issues and how stressed I am about needing my car serviced ASAP. She told me Daniel was on the other line and he would absolutely call me back. Well no, he never did. Nor did anyone for that matter. Now I'm screwed with trying to find somewhere else to take my car and make sure my registration doesn't expire. I'm very disappointed in the service I was given, or should I say lack there of. I just bought another new BMW from them a little over a month ago, so I would expect better service for a very loyal customer like myself. They're more worried about harassing you to take a survey and give them 100% customer service score, than actually providing that. I will have to rethink any further vehicle purchase from them. Very, very disappointed.
