I haven't been to many zoos, but this on is more interactive with zip cording through trees, moth and butterfly exhibit, along with poisonous animals on display. But the real reason we went was for the Asian Lantern Festival which ends in January. It's a beautiful stroll through the zoo and garden starting at 6. Mind you bring some mosquito repellent, this is central Florida after all. Also it's not free but not expensive and definitely worth seeing. Kids will enjoy.
