I have been suffering from sciatic nerve pain on my left leg since X'ms '14. My X-ray indicated my L4 lumber slipped forward and pinched the never. Per family doctor, I should go for physio therapy. I tried 2 different PTs, accupuncture, tuina, osteopathy, chiropractor..... All these professionals were highly recommended by my friends / family but none could help. My normal life was significantly affected since I couldn't stand or walk too much. I have to rely on my right leg and end up I got a swallen & stiff knee. I basically had no appetite / mood to do anything with the pain. I lost 40 lbs in these few months. My family doctor said my case was not common and arranged MRI for me. With the MRI result, we will look into any option for surgery. At the same time, I was prescribed with some nerve pain drug. After talking to various people, I decided to give chiro a try again. Don't know who to go to. I surfed the web for sciatic pain + chiro. I ended up with Dr. Derek Ng. Dr. Ng collected all my X-ray films and clinic reports. During the consultation, he asked a lot of questions. He reviewed all the films and reports before any treatment. I found some improvement after my first back bone adjustment and I never have such experience with all the previous treatments in the last 6 months. This is the 3rd wk with Dr. Ng and I am about 95% recovered. I am glad I can have my life back. I will highly recommend Dr Ng to anyone who is suffering from similar problem.
