I came to Ivy Commons Family Chiropractor because I have had extensive back issues due to having ridden and training horses all my life and playing competitive volleyball. I went to Uva first and had a plan, however it was difficult to make appointments and often I would have to wait 2-4 weeks to be seen. A couple of friends that I trust recommended Dr. Custer. I called and was immediately made an appointment. I was given a consult which was very extensive, with xrays and subjective information that I provided. Since I have been seeing Dr.Custer the following has happened.
1. I have reduced my ibuprofen intake by 75% 2. My butt and leg no longer ache and I have been able to start exercising with out pain medication. 3. She gave me stretches and also combines therapeutic massage into my plan. I have not felt this good in years. Last April I missed 3 months of work due to my back issues. Back pain has limited my activity in the past, I am very excited to get on with my activities pain free, without surgery or pain medication ....5 stars for Dr. Custer. This is also the first time I have ever written a review . BECAUSE she has changed my life ......Thank you!!
