Times have changed. Thanks to ACA (Obamacare) regional (Kaiser) hospitals have had an influx of "insured" customers. Demand for services for them has soared. IMO that personal touch along with their profits have tanked.
Not at the VA. We care only for our nation's warriors. You might be in line for care, but if you're honorably discharged, you're behind your brothers or sisters not fringe or uninsured. The facility looks exclusive and by definition it is, American veterans only. Very, very modern inside, spotless facility with the absolute latest equipment and motivated medical support staff anywhere.
