Randomly got a letter in the mail stating I have an appointment here tomorrow (12/27). I've never been here before, never contacted them, have no idea who set the appointment, where it is, if they take my insurance, anything. I'm trying to call and find out what the heck is going on here but I can't seem to get through to anyone.

I just want to say bravo to you all for dropping the ball once again. I had an appointment for Monday 1/27. Office calls me at 4 pm on Thursday 1/23 to tell me I need to bring proof of income otherwise I need to pay 250+ dollars. When told i have no income and I can provide documentation stating that i was terminated on 12/15 and have been involved in appealing it with the union, was well as pay stubs from December, that is apparently not good enough. I ask how to provide proof that I have no income I'm told "I don't know, go to the social security office?" Well buddy. They were already closed for Thursday. With less than a day's notice, I wasn't able to get to the social security office today or call until late afternoon because shockingly yes even us mentally ill people have obligations in life, like meetings with our local union to get some income you so desparately want proof of! I've now been on hold with the social security office for TWO HOURS to no avail. And they're closed tomorrow and Sunday! Exactly what do you idiots expect from patients!
