We stayed in Novotel London Waterloo, a hotel next to Lambeth road. There is no double glazing window and hence I slept like next to the road with heavy traffic, full of noise all night. I asked if we could move to room facing the back street. The answer was that the rooms were almost full and the staff asked me to buy a better ear plugs, since moving to the other room would be the same.
