I've been using Scilab for my academic projects and I find it to be an excellent software. The features it provides are very helpful and the interface is user-friendly. The Matlab-like syntax makes it easy to transition from Matlab. The online documentation is detailed and resourceful. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with Scilab and it has become my go-to tool for scientific computing.
