I hired Chaos commandos doing a serach for organizer in White Plains. I'm disorganized.

However, the state of my own organization, I felt, required some outside help. In particular, my kitchen. Rob from Chaos Commandos understood that my goal in re-organizing my kitchen was to have the ability to socialize with my guests while I cook and prepare food.

Rob had many wonderful ideas that he shared at our initial meeting. Most importantly, he spent time discerning the root of the challenges, inorder to ensure that whatever he set up would be easily usable according to my habits. He brought along several "before and "after" photos of kitchen projects he had organized before, so that I could get an immediate sense of several possibilities for my own space.

Rob pointed out that while my initial goal was to create a warm and friendly cooking space, the process of cooking is very individual and specific to my own habits. Therefore it was important that my kitchen be a reflection of me, and function this way, too. Rob quizzed me to gain a better understanding of how I used my kitchen, and was actually seeing my kitchen through my eyes.

My kitchen was very cluttered with limited counter space. Pots and pans were everywhere, and a base cabinet I had supported a crowded and shallow shelving unit along one wall. Rob suggested that we ditch the shelving unit, and replace it with deeper shelves mounted directly to the wall. I not only gained more storage, but the system Rob suggested (and installed, by the way), included wider shelves that became a floating counter for all my appliances!

He left ample space under my new counter-top for storage and recycling. I was even able to move a long-forgotten wine refrigerator out of the basement, and place it here as well. Wine plays a large part in the meals I prepare, both as an ingredient and socially, so I was thrilled to have it back.

Knowing that I use a lot of spices and condiments when I cook, Rob designed
a "grab-and-go" area on the limited counter space by the stove with a large lazy Susan, so whatever spice or flavor I reached for was right where I needed it.

Rob also hung a new wall rack for all of my cooking pans, and as an unexpected touch, he then moved the base cabinet to the center of the kitchen, which became a wonderful combination center island and storage unit. Finally, a place for my guests to hang out!

Rob Mizrahi and Chaos Commandos are not only pros, they seem to take pride in coming up with solutions that are uniquely personalized. My kitchen now feels like it is twice the size that it was before. He designed the space so that it was not only functional for me, but it was also a fun, comfortable place for my friends to gather.

I then hired him for some other projects. He helped me clear out the garage, but most of all, I began to see my house a bit differently. I saw places that were cluttered and felt more empowered to figure out now to eliminate them.

Rob is disciplined and effective. I would hire him again in a moment.
