Review of residence inn boston seaport

Pros: very close to Boston Harber , good breakfast...

Pros: very close to Boston Harber , good breakfast. Lobby was nice and clean /semi modern , cool elevator.
Cons: no real temperature control in the room, we arrive on a 50degree day and AC was running on room and we could only lower or up the temp WITHOUT changing the "cool" to " Heat" so we had our coat on in the room too. (Indoor and outdoor was same temperature)
Leaky celling: we were at top floor 6. You could smell and see the water leak on all the beautiful wood beans .
Smoking : hotel couldn't control Guest not to smoke in their room. The cigarette smell was all over our room, which it was reachinv us by air vent.
We notify the lobby about the cigarette smell and kept out room door for hours to refresh our room air and hotel management seems not doing anything about it beaches it kept happening .
Will not stay here again.
