We had a fantastic time here at the Lodge, despite the pouring rain. We were originally going to be camping at Awaroa inlet but the torrential rain forced us to find an alternative. The Lodge was very accommodating to 2 very soaked campers. They dried all of of wet clothes and booked a water taxi for the next morning. The room was comfortable and quiet with a view looking into the forest. Dinner too was very good and a welcome change to the pallete after a couple of days of freeze dried food. Thanks for the stay.
