Nine Elms has been undergoing a massive transformation for the past five years, and is improving bit by bit all the time. The power station itself has been entirely revamped with the new Circus West village area. When events are on such as the recent Seafood Fest, there are food stalls, restaurants, ping pong, choir performances, cinema screenings and many other forms of entertainment which are great for young children on family days out.

A new enterance to the area has recently opened up on the main road leading up to Vauxhall, this has made it less crowded around the original enterance by Battersea Park at Chelsea Bridge. For locals in the area or for those who sign up online, there are tours for exploring inside the power station itself which is currently still undergoing construction after the four old chimneys were replaced. The building itself is something of a cultural icon, being the inspiration for fashion and art for years and is well worth a visit for passing tourists and travellers seeking a bit of history alike. Because there are so many changes being made, it's attracting a diverse range of people and creating lots of new jobs in the area which is very beneficial.
