As I m a Chinese, I never complain a Chinese restaurant. However this is the most awful experience I ve ever had in Manchester. We have booked a table on the first day of the Chinese New Year one weeks ago, and have double checked the booking confirmation with the restaurant two hours before our dinner. However when we arrived the manager told us he don t have our reservation and being very rude. Even more he said fxxking Chinese New Year is not only for you fxxking Chinese people . This is the most ridiculous word I have heard and it s on the first day of the Chinese New Year!!!!!!! The manager is just lying and not responsible as I was talking with him two hours ago before our dinner to confirm our booking and I have shown him our phone call record, but he just ignored us and start getting angry and ask us to never come again because he know he is not talking logical and start getting embarrassed. This man is definitely not the right person to be a manager of a restaurant. I will never come back again. If anyone want a more authentic Chinese restaurant in Manchester, I will recommend another restaurant called ( Manchester Chinese Restaurant). They do much better Chinese food and service than Yang Sing.
