Refuse to pay for lab work NECESSARY AND ORDERED BY MY DOCTOR. Bills for labs started rolling in months after they should've been taken care of. BCBSAL covered less than 2% of the cost of lab work leaving me with unmanageable medical bills. Better off going elsewhere. They take your money and do not cover lab tests, urinalysis, etc. Couldn't even get checked for kidney stones because they refuse to cover anything on the test. I can't afford $300 out of pocket for a doctor ordered test. Canceled my insurance after 6 months of this.
