Among the many hospitals that we have recently toured, I can assert that the pulmonology department in the person of Dr. Costigliola is an excellence.
Unfortunately, we then moved on to the Pulmonology Oncology department and we had a very bad time with the department headed by Doctor Antonino Cammarata. A standoffish person, always hyper busy especially with the length of his lunch breaks. Without any empathy and I believe that in this profession there must be a lot of it.
We have had serious problems and we have not been able to contact them either by phone, by email or even by fax. In short, we had to resort to another oncologist privately.
It would have been easier to have an audience with the Eternal Father.
He even answered a phone call from me, asking for an explanation of my father's fever, that we could choose another center to have him treated and that he didn't have time to be on the phone to explain contraindications to immunotherapy.
I understand that some places are only for political reasons, but the behavior of this gentleman who I would not dare to call a doctor is shameful to say the least.
