Room was not cleaned to my standards. The towels and wash cloths were yellow stained. EWWW. Luckily I always bring my own wash cloths and towels. My sheets had black marks on them and the carpet had not been vacuumed prior to me checking in. They did replace my sheets for me but this just goes to show they do not do their due diligence of making sure these rooms are check in ready before putting a guest in there. There was no tea or coffee in my room. It was tough to get the hot water to come on, sometimes you had to turn the handle to the cold side for warm water to run but most of the time only cold water would come out. I was not provided a plastic bag to put in my ice bucket after asking multiple times, do you really expect me to place ice directly in the bucket and then place those cubes in my drinks?! There is no refrigerator in the rooms so be warned. I've never stayed at a holiday inn that didn't have a refrigerator. There was no microwave in the room either but there is at least one in the lobby when you get off the elevator even though I didn't use it because it's an inconvenience to go down the elevator to heat up my food. The front desk workers are very unprofessional. They never pick up the phone when you call from your personal phone, they expect you to get in contact with them from your room phone which by the way didn't even work during my stay -___- Also who ever was working Sunday May 2 was not at the front desk sometime between 230-3pm when I needed help BUT clearly makes personal FaceTime calls while at work because her/his phone was just sitting in front of the computer in guest view--with their friends waiting for them to return to the call. Trust me, I won't be back. Only positive thing I can say is...it's in a pretty decent location. I didn't have to travel more than 10-20 minutes to majority of the places I went to this weekend.
