I needed oral surgery to have a tooth extracted. I have horror stories about my experience with another oral surgeon, so I put it off until it was almost an emergency. The initial research showed Dr Abe to have cutting edge techniques that increase the rate of healing and reduce the negative impacts of oral surgery. I took the risk, and it paid off!

The entire team is professional, cheerful, and nice. The office is very clean (of course!), and has a nice soothing ambiance.

Dr Abe took the time to not only explain things to me until I understood exactly what was going on, but also sent me home with documents for education. And questions a week later were answered with the same cheerful professionalism as if I d thought to ask them during the initial visit or the day of surgery!

The surgery took longer than I expected (but not longer than they scheduled!), because the tooth lacked the integrity to come out in one piece, and the roots were very twisty. Surgeon and surgical assistant both maintained professional, cheerful attitudes the entire time, while continuing to see to my comfort. I had one MINOR bit of pain during the entire procedure - the pain from additional analgesia being applied was maybe a 1.5 or 2 out of 10 (less than a paper cut) for about three seconds, and that was the worst until after I got home.

The extraction itself was at worst strange and scary (as many mostly deaf people can tell you, bone conducts noise fairly well, and those are not noises Im used to hearing from my mouth!), but it was not actually painful.

Three days after the surgery, it hurt less than it had a week before the surgery, even without pain killers. (Thank you, Dr Abe!)

As long as this man stays in practice, I will never see another oral surgeon. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who needs it, but especially to anyone who is nervous or scared.
