This would be 1 star except everyone that works at my branch and the customer service reps are nice on the phone (other than Shelby that audaciously stated "they cannot control the mail" when I called to follow up with my issue). January 14th I reported a lost debit card, this was lost with my entire wallet which contained everything I have in it. It is now February 3rd, my birthday as well, and I still have not received my debit card in the mail. At one point I was told there was an error shipping it out and it had been sent which was over a week ago yet it was not even shipped priority or overnight after they failed to initially ship the replacement card. So at the best, I will have waited for over 3 weeks to receive a replacement card. If anyone else would like to go more than three weeks with absolutely no access to your own money I would recommend this corporation. I rely on my money for food, rent, bills, transportation, and not to mention enjoying my own birthday, yet cannot access my money because of the horrendous response by this company due to my lost debit card. I would have started another bank account and wired my own money into a new bank had I known it would be this long because even the state of Illinois was able to provide me with a birth certificate quicker than this bank could supply me with a replacement card. Now that the rather slow branches of government have actually replaced my identification cards that were lost I will likely have opened a new bank account before my debit card finally arrives. I reside in Florida but work seasonally in Maine and would have liked to have had that checking account open and available. This should be a negative star review, however, due to the fact that the majority of the people I have interacted with are courteous I will make it two star. Seriously though, over three weeks with no replacement card and once they figured out there was a mistake it was not shipped with urgency. Unbelievable. Oh and now I have to get a cash advance loan to live, but their website is under maintenance so I cannot even access my online banking to print off a statement as proof of an account to receive my loan I am going to have to pay interest on because of their failure to execute one of the most simple of tasks.
