I started off in urgent care as I did not think my condition warranted and ER visit. However, the nurse I met with in UC checked with the doctors and they said the ER was where I needed to be. This nurse walked me over to the ER and made sure I was checked in appropriately and all set. I met with an intake nurse & doctor who both listened patiently to my concern and told me they were happy I was there. They made me feel welcomed and heard. While the wait to be given a room in the ER was longer than I had hoped, I m chalking it up to others who had more pressing concerns. Each doctor, nurse, and specialist I saw after settling into my room were wonderful. They all listened intently, explained their thoughts, and answered by follow up questions. I really feel that all touch points I had were exceptional. Well done overall.
