Hogwarts.

Hogwarts.

Best public building in town. Austin has needed this. We still need a science museum... heck, more museums in general, but great addition to the city.

So many positives to list:

Book checkout and return system is amazing! Assuming every book has an RFID tag and you just place them on the reader all at once and you re done.

Incredible amounts of laptops, tablets, and other devices free for checkout and for unlimited/unrestricted use.

Essentially an entire library dedicated just for kids, which I am not, but can certainly appreciate and admire.

Outstanding seating options throughout the space.

Tons of gorgeous private rooms that each have whiteboards, projectors, and hookups for technology available for free and easy to schedule.

Jaw dropping outdoor patios.

They ve just done a great job of offering a LOT to the public. Price tag makes me cringe, but it all still makes me very proud and happy to have this is town.

Only downside I have experienced is with printing... you can only print black and white 1-sided and you have to pay in cash. Expecting color, 2-sided, credit card options. Ha! Something that can certainly be updated in time I imagine.
