Mcdonald observatory was an amazing experience for everyone we went with us! The location is full of stunning views in the daytime which are only beat out by the insane scenery that can be seen at night.
If you get the chance to visit during one of the observatories "Star Parties" they offer views of many different stars, galaxies, and nebulae through smaller telescopes set up throughout the facility which is a truely awe-inspiring event.
