I would like to share my experience during my stay...

I would like to share my experience during my stay at Dukes Memorial from being admitted in the emergency room on 4 August through 11 August. Followed immediately by IV therapy , outpatient clinic, 12 August through 3 September 2020.

I was impressed with every facet of my treatment and care. From the emergency room staff, to the nurses, house keeping, dining personnel, outside nurse that inserted my pic-line, and my case management worker that coordinated my transition from inpatient to out patient care without any worry on mine or my wife's part.

It was also nice to have the head nurse to check daily as to my needs being met, and to ask if I could recommend anything they could do differently or better.
I was also impressed that if I had a need regardless of whether or not it was that persons job in my room at that time, they would take it upon themselves to make sure my need was met.
I was very pleased.

I would be re- miss if I didn't applaud Dr. Jennifer Drancik for her ruling out every possibility over several test to give me a proper diagnosis and then appropriate treatment.

I would also like to thank RN, Diana Smith, for her expertise and excellent care in safely caring for my IV and pic- line needs during my out patient care. In the nearly one month she took care of me, I never felt uncomfortable, unsafe or tense in anyway what-so-ever.

She was professional and told me how to handle various situations should they arise. It was obvious that she takes great pride in her work. It must be quite an honor for her, and Dukes Memorial Hospital to have her recognized my the Governor of the state of Indiana as one of states finest in her field for her compassion and patient care.
