We had a 3 days 2 nights staycation to celebrate my husband s birthday.
Room was spacious and clean. Love the huge king sized bed! Had buffet breakfast and dinner for both days of our stay. Spread was good. I must commend that the two male servers where we were seated at the family area, were exceptional! Tip top service from them despite the busy restaurant and always smiling and entertaining my little girl.
We had fun at Buds play area. Although not many areas my 1 year old girl can roam around, we had a pleasant time there.
It would be great if Shangri La could have a family room where there s big screen showing family movies and beanbag chairs for families to lounge around and relax.
Housekeeping was so-so. Called to get the room done while we went down for breakfast and a walk around the premises. We came back at 12.30pm and the room still not done. Had to put my girl down for a nap and housekeeping finally came at 1pm which I had to turn them down as my girl was sleeping.
Love the complimentary birthday cake given for my husband s birthday!
All in all we had an enjoyable time as a family staying at Shangri La.
