I am disabled, and I was taken as a protected category by the region as the company in question did not comply with the obligation to hire all employees of the protected categories that the law imposes.
Although the region had sent me there for a job as a clerk, they put me to work as a worker (which moreover given my health condition I could not even do) hoping that I would leave.
But, since I needed the job (I was also unemployed for some time) I tried to hold on despite the suffering, hoping for better times and that after the end of the trial period maybe they would move me to a job more suited to my conditions of health.
Seeing that I did not give up before the trial period expired, they left me at home on the grounds that I was not producing enough.
(At my request to see the production data they told me that it could not be).
When I went back to the regional office to tell what happened, they told me that they couldn't do anything and that they had been sending back all the disabled workers the region sent them for years.
Moral of the story, for them those with health problems should live under a bridge.
Shame.
