The first time I visited my mother she was heavily sedated sleeping from the time I arrived at 1pm and still sleeping to the time I left at 5 pm. she could not even open her eyes. The nurse admitted she was given a pill because she was agitated in the morning. I called the costa mesa several times and never got answer from the people in charge. I received a return call only once. My mom was not totally senile when she was placed there. After just a month, she doesn't recognize anyone of us at all.
