I worked for Hitfar for twenty years before retiring last year. Hitfar is an exceptional company. Not only do they work hard to provide a solid value proposition, they are focussed on developing relationships and providing sound leadership to guide wireless retail in Canada. As an employee it's a mission you can be proud of and I know, because I certainly was. We were there to do business right, and that feels good.

Hitfar is simply a nice place to be. We always wanted to be the kind of business that people would want to work for. The company that did fun things, the company that treated employees with respect, and the company that maintained a good standing in the community. Hitfar has achieved these goals, and is taking it a step further. My retirement was due to my being diagnosed with ALS, a terminal illnesss with unique difficulties. Since learning of this diagnosis, Hitfar, and Troy Fargey, took a personal interest and began supporting me from the beginning. All accommodations were made to allow me to continue working as long as I could. My job was adjusted so that I could begin working at home, and individuals in the company have offered their help or network of contacts to make things easier for myself and my family. Not least, Hitfar has also dedicated an annual day to raising funds to combat ALS and help build my children's education fund going forward, in my absence. My son Dylan would like me to mention the awesome helicopter ride we received on the day of my retirement, as that was pretty cool too.

Hitfar has earned their 5 star rating, and my eternal gratitude, many times over.
