East Riding students jaywalking

Driving along Armstrong Avenue this morning students from east Riding College disembarked from the college coach, emerging from the front of the coach, meaning they were not visible to drivers. These students aggressively walked towards moving vehicles, coming very close. Just a few yards away was the pedestrian crossing, which they did not use. Jaywalking is extremely dangerous, unfair to other road users and unlawful.
Perhaps the powers that be at East Riding College might like to inform their students to observe road safety by using the pedestrian crossing near the junction with Grovehill Road in Armstrong way? Presumably these college students were taught road safety back in primary school? Clearly these 'scholars' require an elementary refresh course in this.
