I just surveyed a lot where I found corners this company had previously set. They also had surveyed the adjoining lots on either side based on corners I found. This firm's own corners don't mathematically work with each other - I have 4 corners with LB760 or RLS1269 caps for a plat 569.56' plat radius and if I hold them I compute a 461.61' radius and the 4 don't sit on a best fit curve within 0.5' of the curve!! I have made 2 trips back to this gentlemen's lot because surveyors like this won't do their jobs and actually figure out boundaries before setting their own corners out of laziness. If you want cheap, go for these types of surveyors - if you want your survey to be right, spend more money and get a better survey performed. This is maddening. John, if you read this - look up Block 3 of PB 39/12 Kenneth City Unit 1 Revised. That is if you kept your records since the corners on the ground indicate you can't even look up your own surveys to make sure you agree with yourself.
