Maven is quite honestly one of the best recruiting agencies I've had the pleasure of working with (and I've worked with a few prominent local ones). However, I really want to take this moment to highlight Stefanie Jass, who's truly an extraordinary human & recruiter.

From the get-go, Stef understood my goals, hopes, and needs during my job hunt. While looking for a permanent placement, I also wanted to take on as many short term assignments as possible, to stay active and make ends meet. Within a few days of meeting Stef, she confirmed me for my first short term assignment, and landed me assignments every week after that over a span of 2 months. She checked in with me constantly, making sure I was happy in my placement, and provided feedback when possible. Whenever a direct hire opportunity came her way (that made sense for my goals), she was quick to let me know and provided the necessary steps to follow.

Unlike my experience with other agencies where I felt like another means to a profitable commission (I won't name names here, but happy to provide insight on agencies to carefully consider), Maven instilled a sense of partnership and mutual respect. I always felt supported and encouraged, even during the bleak moments of the job hunt, I knew my recruiter had my back.

I ended up getting hired on my own accord, but I'm 100% certain that Stef would have found me the perfect job had timing allowed for it. She was determined to do so, and I'll forever be grateful for her dedication.
