The hotel and rooms were ok but require modernisation. Carpet stains, dirty tea cups, thin windows (motorway/loud people noise) and an overly soft bed were some of the issues I had.

I work variable hours including on this occasion returning to the hotel at 11.30pm and leaving again at 2/3am and then returning again at 5am. I did mention this on the desk on arrival and was told it wouldn't be a problem. Apart from the fact that when I went to leave in the morning at 3am there was no one around and I had to wait ten minutes for the doors at the front to be opened. Then when returning at 5am the barriers to the car park were up and the telecom wasn't working! The lady said "give us some notice and we will open it up". I shouldn't have to ring the hotel to gain access to the place I'm staying. Why do you not have an automatic barrier system in place and a call system on entry to the car park??

I am in the area a lot for business but now I will take my business elsewhere.
