Recently, my 1 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Hazel, needed to be taken to an animal ER. While at the ER, she had x rays, fluids, and many medications. She had ingested multiple pieces of rubber from toys. She had to spend 3 nights at the ER and had a surgery to remove the objects from her stomach and intestines. My final bill was over $4,000, but throughout this already stressful and scary time, I didn t need to worry about money. Times like this make me so happy to have Healthy Paws!! Not only does my plan give me great coverage, but the app is so user friendly and the customer service team members are so nice! A day after I submitted my claim, I received an email asking how Hazel was doing!
