I have done business with this business for over 20 years. I had a customer unfortunately put me in a financial bind which left me owing Lucas Metal Works a little over $1414.01 from a bogus check. I was transparent with her collection office and made a $714.01 good faith payment and told them I should be able to pay the balance one week later which would ve been October 2. I was unable to make that payment and their owner and confirm this information. He stated that he would look into it. After calling me back he confirm they tried to run my card for $700 on the 2nd and could not get ahold of me which confirm they kept the card number on file which was not authorized. Additionally, he stated I gave permission for one $700 transaction on the second. They proceeded to run the card this morning for $50 than $100 than $100 and $300 which was not authorized as well as 2 transactions yesterday. JR confirmed that their bank gave him permission to do that which is against the law right before hanging up on me. Clearly the owner of this establishment allows direct theft from customers. I would not recommend this business nor will I ever do business with them again. Furthermore his employee text me personally apologizing and asking me to take down the reviews before they respond.
