Stayed at this hotel is not the first time, before that there were no problems thanks to the qualified staff working in this hotel. I was always very pleased with the quality of the services provided by the hotel RussoBalt - service, rooms, atmosphere, breakfast, and even recommended this hotel to my friends. Due to constant trips abroad, I prefer to use an international passport as an identity document - and in any Moscow hotel there were no difficulties with the settlement according to this document (as a rule, these are always five-star hotels, distinguished by their client-oriented orientation). But during an extreme trip, an employee of the hotel RussoBalt refused to allow me to travel with a passport in a rather unfriendly manner (a photo of a Russian passport was also presented). I was shocked by this, especially considering the fact that I already checked into this hotel on an international passport more than 3 times !! Understanding the futility of a conversation with the receptionist, I asked to call a more competent manager - a boorish woman came out, who refused to be completely unacceptable and categorical and did not even bother to listen to her regular client. At the same time, the cost of living (15,000 rubles) was written off the card, the return of funds was out of the question , the official (written) explanation of the reasons for the refusal to settle and the return of funds was not provided contrary to my insistence. As a result, the money was written off, verbally denied. Considering that my rights were violated, I went to the police. The police officers who arrived at the scene understood the situation and legally officially confirmed my identity to the staff of the Russobalt hotel. However, even after this, the so-called head refused to settle me !! As a result, I was forced to go to the police station to draw up an official statement, and then to another hotel, to which I was settled on an international passport without any questions! Thus, I summarize that, unfortunately, the Hotel Russobalt, thanks to incompetent, absolutely non-client-oriented staff, no longer corresponds to the level of a five-star hotel. I hope this review will be read by the hotel owners, who will pay attention to some personnel and will be able to return everything to their previous level when they wanted to return to this hotel.
