Being in Chiredzi, Hippo Valley is hot and that's great about it, it's hot yet fresh. You can only smell the freshness of life filled air, if you're not near the roads of coz. If you don't mind getting your shoes dusty, and probably your face it's a great place to see the beauty of green vegetation and beauty of Agriculture and working machines but don't forget your sunhat..and no open shoes unless you don't mind washing your feet. Visit between December and June\July before cane harvest season.
