Possibly the worst experience of property management I have ever experienced. Over the course of the time I rented w/ this group, I had an ever-revolving door of property managers who all shared a common lack of accountability and lack of knowledge of their own duties and responsibilities.

Renters beware - do not rent with this group. The property managers that I have had the misfortune of experiencing through this company lack accountability, are unprofessional, and have absolutely no knowledge of their own required responsibilities, or the legality of renting situations under ACT law. General examples I can give is that property managers in the past have not conducted required inspections when they have said they would, or have entered the property unlawfully without advance notice.

In particular, I will single out James Ellis as being a poor example of a representative of this company. He was unprofessional, argumentative, uncommunicative, and unhelpful. Notably, one particular example which stands out as possessing all these qualities is when he failed to properly refund my bond and resulted in my waiting for over several months before I did receive it. He did not lodge for the return of my full bond with the ACT Revenue Bond Office as was required on his part, even though he had agreed to it. This resulted in me having to chase it up many times over the course of several months. On each instance when I asked if he could double check he had indeed lodged the bond return from his end, he insisted he had and refused to check. It was only after I contacted the ACT Revenue Bond Office myself, did they inform me that he had never lodged the application for the return of my bond in the first place. When I came back to him with this information, he could not even offer me a simple 'sorry', instead remarking that he had thought he had already done so. The absolute arrogance and unprofessionalism of this situation was the end to a long line of mishandlings by this property manager of the property I was renting, much of which was later professionally advised to me as unlawful.
