Arrogance reservation system and placement policy at its best!

Location and decoration great (that's why such practices are accepted, I think). Food and service are fine, yet an experienced and elderly hostess or gentleman is not a superfluous luxury, this could be a decent answer to the many disappointed guests and the youthful service finer tricks can teach. We reserved in April (!!!) for an evening in August. Due to traffic jams arrived too late, but because there was no possibility of telephone contact (already quite remarkable) we informed them by Whats app. If they had replied to us that the table is being held for a maximum of 15 minutes, we would no longer have come from NIJMEGEN. Unfortunately, they did not, the extremely rude and attentive young lady of the reception forgot to put us on the waiting list, or to inform us about the estimated waiting time. 5x in 3 hours we started informing ourselves, already having spent 120 euros at the beach bar. Finally at 9 p.m. a table (reservation was at 5.15 p.m.) .... As compensation we were offered coffee from the house, so we understood after receiving the bill. Nobody came to offer this to us personally, probably because they themselves thought this was a meager gesture. No more Branding for me, no matter how beautiful the sunset is there, the reactions of other people waiting in line do not lie. Such a shame for such a beautiful tent!
