My father entered assisted living about a month ago. We couldn t be happier. He often says, this is a first rate establishment! The staff is caring and treat the residents with respect. The wellness center coordinates his medical and therapy needs most of which can be met on site and they transport him to specialists. The professional waitstaff make him feel as though he were dining in a fine restaurant every night. He has recently started using a wheelchair and needs more help than he is used to needing, but the portable paging device makes it very easy to summon an aid. The kind aids encourage him to call them even more than he does. They often have live musical entertainment as well as parties and other social activities. The facility is very welcoming to visiting family and friends. Our whole family had Christmas dinner there they even have a high chair. This facility is well suited for a man for whom dignity and independence are very important yet who needs a significant amount of help. I am so happy and relieved that he likes his new place so much.
