The Teatro di San Carlo is an opera house in Naples, as well as one of the most famous and prestigious in the world.
It is among the oldest closed opera houses in Europe and the world still active, having been founded in 1737, as well as the largest Italian-style theater in the peninsula.
Despite my modest age, being 14, I am a lover and enthusiast of theaters and classical music. When I was in Naples my first stop could not have been this one. As soon as I entered I was so impressed that I got excited. Of all the theaters I've seen in my life this is undoubtedly the most beautiful. I do not mean that there is no more beautiful theater in the world but that there is nothing that can give the slightest idea of the enchantment of this theater. I advise you to go there absolutely even if you are not passionate about the world of theater and art in general. I hope I have explained myself well in this short text but I assure you that describing the San Carlo Theater is not very easy, you have to see it in person because it is impossible to realize what we are talking about.
