Buyer beware

Unfortunately did not live up to his moto of “honesty, integrity and trust”. Indicated there was a $150 consultation fee that would be credited back to work performed. Did not stand by this agreement and over charged $100 to install two do-it-yourself faucet filters which took 5 minutes to install. Was scheduled to return to complete multiple issues yet cancelled at the last minute despite he was scheduled to be here at the same time as the electrician (who showed). Left my kitchen sink spraying water everywhere (it was not spraying water before he examined the faucet head for a water pressure issue). Never credited the consultation fee back, over charged for a small task I understood to be a courtesy given the ease of the task (I could have done myself) coupled with the work I planned to hire him for. He never told me he intended to charge $100 for screwing in 2 filters, falsely claimed he told me verbally and then cancelled his appointment, never returned and when I inquired about my understanding of our agreement left me hanging and told me to seek out another plumber. So after all, I paid $250 for the him to screw on a do-it-yourself filter and a charge I was neither informed of nor agreed to and I’m left with more problems than I had before he arrived. It’s just not honest or truthful or a showing of integrity. Very disappointing and would not recommend. When I voiced my concerns I was told to keep the $250 and find peace. So I’ll add gaslighting to the list. I paid the $250 as I had that choice or be the bad guy. Would’ve been nice if he tried to work with me towards a mutually agreeable resolution but I was told “coming out for $100 isn’t worth my time” then received an estimate for almost 5k for the work I needed done which he opted out of. Good grief. I still have the same plumbing issues except they are worse now than before.
