In the past often a car was sold through Ikwilvanmijnautoaf.nl, but nowadays things don't run so smoothly here anymore.

I tried to sell my old diesel with a broken timing belt as a scrap car. After entering my details in the contact form, I was almost immediately called by an employee of Ikwilvanmijnautoaf.nl. A trader wanted to give another 100 and I agreed. Until here it all went perfectly, but then I had to contact the dealer myself for an appointment. I call this dealer, who immediately indicates that he will call me back within 1 minute. 45 minutes later, this gentleman calls me back to indicate that the schedule will call me around 4:00 PM that afternoon. After 2 days I haven't heard anything yet. Ikwilvanmijnautoaf.nl calls and indicates that they will ensure that I will be called back today. This takes place again 2 days later, but I never get a call back.

It is an old diesel that is very expensive in insurance and taxes. So I send an email with a number of options. The company is not around the corner, the car is on private property, so I offer as a solution to secure the car. This way the company can take the time to pick up the car and stop the costs for me. I also indicate that otherwise we might be able to terminate the agreement and that I will offer the car to a local scrapper, as that will ultimately be more profitable for me. The e-mail that follows indicates that the agreement will not be dissolved and that the buyer will definitely contact us today. The buyer will of course not contact you.

In the end I don't know what to do with this anymore. I send an email in which I indicate that I will terminate the agreement and take my car to the local scrap yard. Because Ikwilvanmijnautoaf.nl has kept me on the line for nothing, I want to have a number of costs back. This is purely a matter of principle for me. The costs that have been continued for insurance and tax amount to 41. Then it suddenly becomes difficult for Ikwilvanmijnautoaf.nl to contact you. Sometimes they let you know by e-mail that this has not happened or after 1 call they leave a voicemail with the message that I have to call back myself.

I have indicated several times that I want my money back. Getting in touch is difficult and I actually have nothing more to add to the whole story by telephone. If Ikwilvanmijnautoaf.nl had just handled this properly, she could have given a bad review, but unfortunately this company is very stiff, customer-unfriendly and does not think along at all. All ideas and possible solutions had to come from me. Ikwilvanmijnautoaf.nl only makes promises that are not kept 9 out of 10 times. It is simply absurd to be told 5 times within a week that you will be called back, but that this will not happen. This was the last time I sold a car through them.
