Doctor Even Tow is terrible. He literally spent less than 2 minutes with me. I am taking a medication Metformin HCL ER 500MG that I found has a recall that has the side effects that can cause tumors in your tongue and esophagus. I have had a very sore throat and tongue pain for 3 weeks. I went to the ER because I could not get into a doctor last week. I found out Sweeny does not have a MRI machine as I was told by the nurse. Dr Tow said he could not visible see a tumor, but did see reds and swelling. He gave me a cortisone shot and a prescription for prednisone. The rest of the ER staff was awesome. I could understand a short visit if he were swapped. But there was nobody there, so he could have taking the time to talk with me if he preferred. Will not be back
