I went there last week to buy some cupcakes because I heard they were very good. I went to the counter and a woman was there making drinks. She saw me but did not acknowledge me in any way. No smile, no welcome. She turned her back and continued to make the latte. After a few minutes she turned back around to me and asked if I was being helped. I told her "no" and she said nothing and turned back to her work. Two other staffers walked by me without any acknowledgement. Finally, after waiting a few more minutes, I left. (If there was a no star option and would have chosen it.) If this is your idea of being "hip," learn from the friendly wait staffers in Portland.
By the way, I grew up in New York and in Manhattan so I know "attitude."
I really don't need it when I go to St. George.
