Update 2: I received a call from Fairhaven earlier...

Update 2: I received a call from Fairhaven earlier this week to let me know my father's memory book was ready....almost 2 years after the service. This place is awful, through their disorganization and incompetency, they've needlessly forced me to dig up painful memories about a difficult time twice. Given Fairhaven's severe lacking in customer service, organization, and general competency, I'd say they have no business in providing comfort and care to families.

Update 1: Fairhaven called me 6 months ago to let me know that my father's memory locket with his fingerprint was ready. A few issues: we never ordered this, they were calling almost a year after my father had passed away, and after calling them back to clarify, it turns out they had contacted me in error.

Terrible service. My father passed away in April, and we had services at Fairhaven in April 2016. Working with the staff and trying to get what we needed was a frustrating experience. There were an absurd number of things that Fairhaven failed to do or messed up when doing:

1. Processing paperwork took 4 hours because the representative I was working with kept messing up in the program.
2. Two days after my father passed away, I called to reserve a day for the funeral. I was told someone would call me back in 20 minutes. It took 4 hours and several phone calls to get to anyone worth talking to.
3. After filling out paperwork for an hour and having left Fairhaven already, I was told I needed to come back because my representative neglected to have me finish all of it.
4. The portrait of my father was poorly done, despite assurances that it would be "great"
5. The signature book at the funeral omitted the names of my brother and sister. Instead, it listed me twice, with my name spelled incorrectly both times.
6. The replacement page for the signature book misspelled my name....again.
7. I was told I could pick up all death certificates on a specific day, but when I arrived, none of them were ready.

Fairhaven is a beautiful park to host services at, but is run by incredibly disorganized people who seem more interested in locking down contracts than providing quality service.
