I have chronic pancreatitis and went into the ER, at first everything was fine and they saw me right away. Pancreatitis is one of the most painful things anyone can ever experience in their life oh, I was put into a room and given the pain meds that I needed sparingly, spaced out between 3 hours at a time even though the pain was outrageous, and when I was at the peak of how bad my pain was they decided to take me off of IV pain medication and switch me to oral even though I begged them not to because my pancreas was still in inflamed, this was after recieving my last dose of pain meds an hour late and I was to the point of being barely able to speak or breathe, I keep pressing the nurse call button and pain button and could literally hear nurses walking by and laughing while completely ignoring me and when they did come in 3 different times they said "ok I'll let your nurse know your in pain" while I'm sitting there with my face burning red and barely able to speak almost convulsing from how bad the pain was. Then the nurses gave me attitude and I could hear them gossiping about me outside the door, not to mention I wasnt allowed to eat or drink anything for 48 hours. I left on my own. I would rate lower if I could. Totally unprofessional
