I recently visited a local quilt shop and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of fabrics they had. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I was able to find everything I needed for my project. The only downside was that the prices were a bit higher compared to some other shops I've been to. Overall, it was a decent experience.
