We are having the loveliest time! My mom and I attended the Design in Pines craft retreat this weekend, and we didn't know quite what to expect as first timers. We were welcomed warmly and in such a sincere way that we felt like we had new friends immediately!
We had a weekend packed with new crafting experiences to participate in (and things to bring home! ), as well as lots of free time to do our own activity or even read and book and recharge if we were so inclined. We had patient and very encouraging teachers and they were as happy for us as we were when we completed a project!
The director is warm, and kind, and helpful, and an absolute joy to be around for the weekend.
And the food....oh, the food! It was gorgeously presented and the flavors rivalled top restaurants.
My son is coming to teen camp next week and I'm thrilled knowing what an incredible times he's also going to have.
A million and a half stars!
