I am overwhelmed with the help, guidance and support of Taurus team over the entire process of my Canada PR.

When I first thought of applying for Canada PR, I spoke to couple of friends who already were Canada PR holder or already in the process. They suggested to avail service from different consultants, and I went to enquire to those consultants too. They were always in hurry to convince me to avail their services and make 1st installment of fee. However, that was not the case with Taurus. There wasn t any push from Taurus team to avail their service. When I visited Taurus office first time, they explained me the entire PR process, pre-requisites and their fee structure. Not even a single time they insisted to avail their service. Their philosophy was to educate the potential client first, and then if he or she is convinced, take it further. No marketing gimmicks, no false promises. I was told what they thought is the best for me with regards to getting a PR. This really impressed me and convinced me to go ahead and avail Taurus service. On contrast to this, I have a few of my friends, who have availed services of other consultants and they are stuck in the process for some or other reason without a seeing a ray of hope to get PR in foreseeable future.

When one starts the process, the immediate need for most of the people are:
- Get educational credential evaluation
- Appear for IELTS and secure the minimum required score
Taurus helps with both by helping you get transcripts (I know they help you get transcripts from Pune university, but not sure for other universities) from university, and they do have IELTS classes. Normally, other consultants again try hard to convince you to avail these services from them, and by providing these add-on services, they will earn extra bucks. Tautus team made me aware of their IELTS class, but there was no push to enroll their class. It was totally up-to me.

After all the preliminary requirements were met and my profile was created for PR, it was time to wait until I receive ITA. This is a tricky part, and no-one knows how much time this can take. However, in between, there is a chance that your IELTS score turns invalid, and you may not notice it. But again, Taurus team made sure to inform me to reappear for IELTS well in advance to make sure before old score turns invalid, new score is updated on my PR profile. This shows their dedication to minor details of clients profile.

Once I received ITA, there was a ton of work to be done to collect required documents, statements, clearance certificates, etc. Again, Taurus was very stringent to scrutinize whatever documents I provide. For example, when I provided the certificate explaining my roles & responsibilities at work, they inspected it to make sure that the list of roles & responsibilities match and are aligned with the NOC I applied for. At that time, I was a bit frustrated with this, but now, when I look back, I understand the importance of that. A mismatch of NOC and roles & responsibilities could damage your chances to get PR. Taurus team also asked me for documents, certificates, statements that were not listed in CIC website, but it was their experience that told that providing these supporting documents make your profile stronger and avoid delay in processing (or minimizes chance of rejection too).

Not writing about Miss Pallavi, my case officer, would be ungrateful gesture as she needs special mention in this review. She is really a competent officer with very good knowledge of entire PR process. She always paid attention to trivial details while working on my case. She was always a phone-call away to resolve all my queries and doubts. And she was always replying with earnestness, even if I was at times, impatient, and have asked stupid questions.
