Waste of taxpayers money

The absolute laziest company around. They rarely pick trash now with new neighborhoods. They leave trash in street. They come very late, if at all sometimes. Called for them to pick tree limbs. We already know they need to be cut four feet. The company states we have to check it out first. WHAT am I paying over $300 a year for? I lived at the same address over 20yrs and this is the worse absolute worse trash company. Richland county is not doing their job vetting these companies. Meanwhile tax dollars are just being given to any company they can get. Time to start voting OUT these officials who are giving contracts to companies like this.

Update: the trash company came by “looked” at the pile and said they “ain’t” 4 feet and drove off. We had the measuring tape ready…but they drove off! Very unprofessional! I’m tired of calling the ombudsman office…a lot of neighbors are complaining! What are we paying for…whoever is signing the contract for this company should be fired with the trash company

Update! Syndi the GM called with a bunch of excuses. Instead of taking accountability her employees lied….cameras don’t lie! This lady said the pile looks smaller…well Syndi, if you must know, again, it’s been 5 days the leaves are dead, so yes, the pile looks smaller! Richland County Columbia SC Procurement and Acquisition team needs to do better, so much better than this with our tax money!! This company has gone up in price and quality of service has completely declined! Now a days we just give money away.
