Was not expecting this museum to be as enjoyable as it was! It s a bit smaller than most museums, but there is SUCH a bevy of great work. I highly recommend the Barnes Foundation, especially if you re a lover of impressionist and post-impressionist art. The museum also has a website where you can use your phone to scan a picture and they ll have all the information as well as an explanation behind the artist and the painting. Be careful, however, as the staff there are pretty vigilant about people keeping the appropriate distance from the art. They re just doing their job (and it s not an easy one), but they can be a bit overzealous sometimes. Anyway, a must visit for those going to Philly!
