Just enjoyed a delightful tour of the gallery and museum at the Heritage Society in Downtown Houston. Sheryl, the leader of the docents did a great job of providing information on the houses that are displayed and protected at the site. You can't get a better review of Houston history than by seeing the ten buildings on the site. Not only is the parking free, an almost unheard of delight in downtown Huntsville, but it is easy to get in and out of as well.
Check it out. It's worth a visit.
